SOM Alumni Association

Each fall at its Annual Awards Banquet, the School of Management Alumni Association recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves professionally or in service to the School. Achievement awards are presented in the following categories:

Industry Leadership

Given to an individual alumnus whose career has been exemplary in a particular industry. The recipient of this award will be at the forefront of his/her industry nationally and/or internationally.

Entrepreneurship

Given to an individual alumnus (and/or member of the CEL family) who embodies the characteristics of entrepreneurship. The recipient of this award will not only be a successful entrepreneur; but will have helped to advance the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Service to the UB School of Management (SOM)

Given to an individual alumnus who has contributed to and advanced the purposes of the UB SOM. The recipient of this award will have made contributions to the School that has enhanced the quality of life within the SOM family.

Service to WNY Community

Given to an individual alumnus who embodies the characteristics of community service. The recipient of the award will have demonstrated an exceptional level of service and commitment to the community.
