and stay connected with the school, including opportunities for professional

resource for our students, and through activities like Realistic Job
Previews, Network New York, Network Buffalo and the Alumni Telementor
Program, you can help students as they explore career paths and grow
professionally. Listed below are various events and opportunities available

- Member Rewards Program!
As a member of the School of Management Alumni Association, you are
eligible to participate in the member rewards program. Yes, it sounds
like a credit card program, but it's not. It is a way for the Alumni
Association to give back to our members and it's fun. Two mailings are
sent out, one to WNY
Members and one to Members
outside the WNY area. Some of the rewards are given by random drawing,
some needed information about why the member was interested in the particular
reward. The rewards include: free tickets to SOMAA events, Grants to
not-for-profit organizations, Grants for Professional Development/Continuing
Education, Travel grants to come back to WNY to see the UB Bulls play,
Among Friends Dinners in areas outside WNY. See the above links for
more information. The mailing goes out after the first of the year and
the winners are notified in the spring. This year's member rewards have
already been given out, keep checking your E-mail as we will be repeating
this program annually. To see this year's winners, click
here.
