BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The UB Entrepreneurship Academy will host a workshop, “From an Idea to a Business: How to Be a Student Entrepreneur,” at 7 p.m., Feb. 12, in Knox 20 on the North Campus.

Yong Li, associate professor of operations management and strategy, is the director of the Entrepreneurship Academy, a community where UB students interested in entrepreneurship can share meaningful experiences throughout their college years.

The lecture will feature Ansar Khan and James O’Leary, both former UB students who founded Refulgent Software and developed “Ambur,” an iPod application that allows waiters to take orders on an Apple device and wirelessly send the information to a kitchen printer. It is free and open to the public.
