Anderson named Coach of the Game

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Muriel Anderson, clinical associate professor in the University at Buffalo School of Management, was named honorary UB basketball Coach of the Game on Dec. 2 when the Bulls faced off against St. Bonaventure.

Accompanied by Donald Reed, senior associate athletic director, and Jason Bird, MetLife advisor and title sponsor, Anderson was recognized on the court in Alumni Arena for her distinguished service, excellent teaching and contributions to the university community.

The Faculty Honorary Coach Program fosters and promotes a positive professional and collaborative relationship between University at Buffalo faculty and athletics staff members. Faculty Honorary Coaches have the opportunity to view the inner workings of the intercollegiate athletics department and are honored at an athletics competition.
