Faculty and staff shared their expertise and time to support not-for-profit agencies, professional associations and religious and cultural organizations. They served on boards, mentored and advised, conducted seminars and workshops, and organized and participated in a wide variety of fundraising activities. School of Management faculty and staff joined hundreds of UB employees in support of UB community events:
Day of Caring: School of Management staff were proud to participate again this year in Western New York’s largest community service event, mobilizing thousands of volunteers across Erie and Niagara Counties.
Ride for Roswell: Three School of Management riders raised nearly $8,700 in the Ride for Roswell joining 117 UB Spirit Team riders to raise more than $42,000. The Ride for Roswell supports critical research and patient care at one of the nation’s top comprehensive cancer centers, Roswell Park Cancer Institute. This year’s event generated more than $3.2 million.
Campaign For The Community: For the past several years, the University at Buffalo has been a leading campaign contributor, placing in the top 10 nationally for total contributions within colleges and universities of its size. School of Management employee participation is more than double the current university average. More than 600 organizations and hundreds of thousands of individuals are helped each year through the generosity of UB employees.
