Volunteers Make a Difference

School of Management Faculty and Staff

The UB Spirit team rode in the Ride for Roswell to raise money for cancer research and treatment

Faculty and staff share their expertise and time to support not-for-profit agencies, professional associations, religious and cultural organizations. They serve on boards, mentor and advise, conduct seminars and workshops and organize and participate in fundraising activities.

Alumni

School of Management alumni represent a tremendous source of assistance to the communities in which they live and work. Many of our 34,000 alumni serve on boards and volunteer their time to numerous nonprofit, health and human service, cultural, environmental and religious organizations. Alumni also actively support the UB School of Management by participating in professional development and networking activities for students; funding important projects like our state-of-the-art digital access classroom, the John H. Shellum Room; and through their involvement with the School of Management Alumni Association.

In their commitment to serving others, School of Management student clubs inspired the rest of our school community. This year, students took on an eclectic and challenging mix of volunteer projects to help make a positive impact in the community.
