BUFFALO, N.Y. -- School of Management students have the opportunity to win $2,000 in the Alumni Network Challenge sponsored by the School of Management Alumni Association (SOMAA).
The Alumni Network Challenge seeks fresh ideas on how to engage the school’s global alumni network with each other, the school and the SOMAA, with a focus on using the Internet, social networking, technology or other media.
Ideas can include games, activities, competitions or other events. “We know how creative our students are, so we are looking forward to the great ideas they are sure to generate,” said Thomas Cogan, SOMAA president.
The competition will kick off on Sept. 13 in the Alfiero Center Atrium.
Students can stop by anytime from 5-7 p.m. to pick up contest information, ask questions and enjoy some free food.
The contest deadline is Oct. 10. Entrants must submit a one-page executive summary of their ideas to the Alumni Network Challenge Committee.
