School of Management Alumni Association Honors Student Leaders

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo School of Management Alumni Association recognized 16 students with two newly established awards honoring community service and leadership. The awards presentation took place Feb. 12 in the school’s Alfiero Center.

The Community Service award recognizes a student’s volunteer service with nonprofit or community-based organizations that helps improve the quality of life for individuals.

The Leadership award recognizes a student’s significant contribution to student life through volunteer student representation, committee involvement, student organization leadership, residence hall leadership or athletic leadership and participation.

To be eligible for the awards, students needed to be members of one of the School of Management’s recognized students clubs or organizations.
